I was born and raised in Ghana and waist beads have been part of my entire life. 

One of my biggest motivations for starting this business is to teach women about the cultural significance of waist beads how to properly adorn themselves. The lines between tradition and modernity have been blurred leading to waist beads being overly sexualized in the mainstream. 

I, therefore, believe that teaching women about the traditional significance of waist beads, keeps them informed and gives them the tools to make better decisions as they embark on their waist beads journey
